Mini Series
"5 Stages of Grief"
Series
This series is surrounded by the five stages of grief. The pieces are meant to showcase how each stage felt to me during my grief I was dealing with after my dad's passing. This series is not meant to only be representative of my personal experience, but it represents the struggles, back and forth pull, confusion, turmoil, and peace through all five stages. Each piece is completed in a monochromatic style with one color representing each stage. Purple represents denial, red for anger, green for bargaining, grey for depression, and blue for acceptance. These pieces are a compilation of oil on canvas and have a layered effect of multiple 'feelings'.
